Meg Cashman-Brown

Partner, Media Director

Meg Cashman-Brown is a marketing and business development professional with close to 20 years’ experience. Her extensive marketing and media background includes print, radio, promotions, event planning as well as both broadcast and cable television. Meg’s focused curiosity, communication skills, insight and tenacity led her to excel in helping businesses develop effective, results-driven marketing campaigns. A wide variety of businesses—large and small, local and regional, in various markets across the country—have turned to Meg to help them solve a problem or take them to the next level. Meg is past president of the Dreamfund charitable organization (Austin chapter). She is a graduate of Texas State University.

Steve Calkins

Partner, Creative Director

Steve is a 30 year media and marketing veteran whose resume includes retail marketing, promotions, public relations, event planning, and management in radio, direct marketing, cable television, and broadcast television. Steve’s management experience (CBS and WB network affiliates, CableTime) and creative approach to promotions and media made his transition to agency owner a natural (and long overdue) move. He and his creative team have developed campaigns and ideas that have helped to reposition and increase market share for clients ranging from an international retail diamond jeweler to one of the largest auto retail groups in the state of Texas. He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Michigan School of Fine Arts.

Lisa Herbert

Art Director

Marriage changes a lot of things. In Lisa’s case it changed her from a Wine into a Herbert (the things we do for love!). And even though we keep her so busy that she can’t remember her own name some times, that doesn’t stop her from developing classic — one might say vintage — visuals. Blessed with a true nose for design, Lisa has uncorked her talents for clients such as Group1 Automotive, Gitanjali and BMW. In her 8 years in the profession, she has art directed and designed for television, print, outdoor, and interactive. Lisa has 10 years of formal fine arts training and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a 4.0 GPA (is that a “Magnum” Cum Laude?)

Amy Tisi

Graphic Designer

Even though Cornflower was the crayon she used the least when growing up, that didn’t stop her persuing her passion of art. Continuing to tap into the crayon box and apply such colors not only to work, but, her hair, Amy has been actively involved in the graphic design and advertising industry for over 12 years. Working across a wide range of disciplines ranging from print production to web and working with such heavy hitting clients as AT&T, Hallmark, Air Force, Las Vegas Hilton, and the American Legacy Foundation, Amy brings a colorful approach to any project that comes across the breeze team. Amy is a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts concentrating in Graphic Design and Illustration.

Kristan Braziel

Media Goddess

Kristan’s love for the advertising business can be traced all the way back to her early childhood, when she ruined her parents’ Spanish-style Formica bedroom dresser by layering it with heavy coats of Pledge during a repeated dramatization of a circa-1970’s commercial promoting the product. Twenty years later (minus a 3-year stint teaching 8th graders!), she’s still heavily steeped in “the biz,” with layers of perspective developed through positions held on the client-side, agency-side, and the media sales side. Kristan’s experience with promotions, market analysis, and media planning/buying are what benefits her clients most. Kristan joined Breeze in October 2007, and manages the Scott & White Healthcare account. She is a graduate of the University of North Texas.

Mia Vieira

Media Planner/Buyer

Mia was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and moved to the United States in 1994, without knowing more than five words of English. Outside of the classroom, she learned English from television shows and movies and music. Mia joined Breeze Marketing in February 2008, following a position as a freelance writer for Austin-based public relations firm, PR By the Book. After working on media related projects, she decided she’d found a new love (second only to her other new love, James, whom she married in August). She is currently a Media Planner/Buyer on the Vein Solutions, Gitanjali, Ashley Furniture, and More Space Place accounts. Mia is a graduate of the University of Texas. She lives in south Austin with her husband and two adorable Boxers, Belle and Stevie Ray.

Amy Prieto

Media Planner/Buyer

Amy is all about the numbers. 14+ years media buying experience. More than 60 U.S. markets. And don’t get her started on GRP’s, CPP, CPM and the like. Heck, even her favorite movie has a number in the title (16 Candles). But lest you get the wrong idea, she’s not just about the numbers. When the only time a potential employer could meet her for an interview happened to be on Halloween, she interviewed dressed as Pippi Longstocking. Amy has proficiency with all of the essential tools of the trade – Arbitron, Neilsen, SQAD – and has used them on behalf of clients such as AT&T, BMW, U.S. Air Force, Dreamworks and more.

Leighton Cromwell

Media Planner/Buyer

Our resident “mystery woman”, Leighton (if that is her real name) is a delight to work with, and totally committed to exceeding customer expectations. Beyond that, who knows? We pulled her personnel file. Her resume has the usual info: Went to TCU. Been working since 2006. Before Breeze, worked at Time Warner Cable Media Sales in Austin. But who is the REAL Leighton Cromwell? Using the Freedom of Information Act, we requested all of her government files. It turns out — according to portions of the record that were not blacked out — she had a “typical” childhood. But what is it about growing up in Waco that makes her (according to an anonymous source) obsessive about “cornin’ the fields”, shooting pigs, and mourning celebrity deaths as if she knew them personally? Is it possible she really did know them…? We’ll continue to investigate. Check back often for the latest updates.
